• About the painting: I merge several different worlds. The dog, Raven, in the foreground is from a pet portrait commission. And the yellow floating behind Raven is derived from sea kelp. The land and the sea collide in this composition and at the same time tell a story of love. The two birds in the center are in a romantic relationship and the two puppies in the background are also a pair, but seem like heavenly creatures. Dark humor is embedded by the expression of Raven, who has a serious look on her face juxtaposed with the other whimsical creatures.
